As mentioned yesterday, as a way of giving back this year, and to emphasize the importance of supporting Small Business, this holiday season (and always), we are running a series on small businesses we love from brick and mortar shops, online shops, studios and makers.
Today we’re honoured to feature a very cool papergoods shop here in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C., The Regional Assembly of Text. Their old school brand has been a favourite of ours ever since they appeared on the scene in Vancouver fifteen years ago. From a letter writing nook where they host monthly letter writing clubs (during non-covid times), to a zine library (the lowercase reading room) filled with rarities and of course old school style stationery they create in house for all of us stationery lovers. They also sell their goods online, as well as wholesale. If you are ever in Vancouver or Victoria, these stores are a must-see!
The Regional Assembly of Text
Shop Addresses: 3934 Main Street Vancouver & 560 Johnson Street Victoria
Do You Sell Online? Yes, on our website: assemblyoftext.com and we also sell wholesale to other lovely shops.
The Regional Assembly of Text, a little stationery & gift store, opened in Vancouver B.C. in 2005 & in 2013 we opened a second storefront downtown Victoria. Focusing on text as a theme, our stores feature many lovely things designed and built by us. We are inspired by all things nostalgic: vintage office supplies, old textbooks, maps & product design from days gone by. Our stores endeavour to create an atmosphere of delight, curiosity & enjoyment for our customers. We hope you can visit us one day.
